Chucky Waggs plays a mix of acoustic and electric guitar, 5 string and tenor banjo, dobro, resophonic guitar, harmonica, musical saw and kazoo, while using his feet to stomp out the back beat on a thrown together drum kit during live performances. His influences come from early American roots music, as well as early punk and rock and roll.
Chucky Waggs (Charles Adam Wagner) got his musical start playing in basement punk rock bands. He eventually found an appreciation for early American blues, and jugband songs, as well as early country, folk and bluegrass. |

Burning Nopal Rainbow Revolution
|
Inspired by 1970s keyboard aces Gary Wright, Dennis DeYoung, Keith Emerson, Manfred Mann and others, I began taking piano lessons at age 12. It wasn't long before I had my first synthesizer. In addition to being active in school music programs, I played in a series of garage bands and quickly graduated to working bands, eventually going on a multi-state tour with a club band following high school. Now a veteran Rock keyboardist with 30+ years experience, I'm an established performer and recording artist. Most recently I was a member of the Texas-based Alt Rock/Electro Pop band Burning Nopal for 7 years, the result of which was 5 CDs and 40 shows. I'm now working at a much more relaxed pace writing and recording new music at my home studio in beautiful Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Journy Sometimes Amber.
Journy hails from Cabool, Missouri and this is how her song “Lilly’s Lullaby” came to be.
A little over a year ago, and while Journy was in the middle of the process of choosing a song to produce, her beautiful daughter Lilly, forever 2 years old, died in a freak accident. It was instantly clear which song she needed to produce, and so "Stay With Me" got it's second title, "Lilly's Lullaby", and was produced in her honor.
And so with that, and in honor of her daughter Lilly, please listen to
'Journey Sometimes Amber'.. with.. 'Stay with me (Lilly’s Lullaby)'.. on our OzarksRadioEureka Artist Spotlight.
Enjoy two more tracks.......
Thanks to 'Journy Sometimes Amber' for allowing us to feature her amazing music on OzarksRadioEureka.com
